A suicide takes someone we love and leaves us with many questions unanswered. No one understands like someone who has experienced it. What is SOS? SOS is a self-help support group for adults who have lost a family member, friend or relative to suicide and would like the comfort and understanding of others who have suffered a similar loss. SOS is associated with the CRISISline program of the Mental Health Association of Greenville County. There are no dues or fees.
What is the purpose of SOS? The purpose of the group is to offer comfort, friendship and support to those who have lost loved ones to suicide. SOS provides programs, services, and outreach to families, friends, and the community. The group networks and forms coalitions with public services that often deal with suicide. When and Where?
