Call for Compassion

Call for Compassion is MHAGC's annual faith-based conference. Held each May, the conference addresses the understanding of mental health topics within a faith-based setting. Each conference addresses a particular topic; 2012's topic was "Nurturing Healthy Relationships Through Life's Passages" and addressed bullying, sexuality, aging and more. The conference features a variety of speakers who address topics on both a personal and professional level. By the end of every conference, it is our hope that participants will have increased their knowledge of the struggles and successes of mental health understanding in a faith-based setting and will walk away with a new toolkit of skills and available resources on the topics at hand.
