Walt’s Waltz is excited to partner with DEHEC to host a FREE, Virtual Workshop on ACEs – Adverse Childhood Experiences and how they may impact children – adults.
“Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are traumatic events that occur in a child’s life prior to the age of 18. This adversity can harm a child’s brain and its development, which can result in long-term negative health and social outcomes. While ACEs may be common, the good news is that they are preventable. This presentation covers an overview of adverse childhood experiences, their impacts throughout life, and how resilience trumps ACEs.”
This event is virtual and a link will be emailed after registration is complete.
