Mental Health America of Greenville County (MHAGC) is proud to announce that we have been awarded the 2025 Gold Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health by Mental Health America, the nation’s leading nonprofit dedicated to promoting mental health, well-being, and the prevention of mental illness.
The Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health is a national certification that recognizes employers committed to creating mentally healthy workplaces. Achieving Gold status—the second-highest level of distinction—validates our organizational commitment to employee well-being and affirms that mental health is not only the focus of our services, but a principle we practice internally.
MHAGC is honored to join a select group of forward-thinking organizations across the country working to transform workplace culture. This recognition reflects our ongoing efforts to foster a psychologically safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all staff—because we believe that well-supported teams can do life-saving work more sustainably and more effectively.
“At MHAGC, we believe that caring for the community starts with caring for the people who serve it. Earning the Gold Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health reflects our deep belief that a healthy workplace is essential to a healthy mission.”
– Jennifer Piver, Executive Director
Earning this certification was a collective effort. It reflects not only our internal practices and policies but also the dedication of our team to building a values-driven culture rooted in well-being, respect, empathy, and collaboration.
Several key strengths contributed to this recognition, including:
- A comprehensive, mental health-forward benefits package
- Investment in professional development and training
- A strong emphasis on work-life balance and flexibility
- A focus on employee voice, feedback, and psychological safety
MHAGC is proud to lead by example. As we continue our mission to support, strengthen, and save lives through services that positively impact mental health, we are equally committed to fostering a workplace where our staff can thrive.
We thank our supporters, partners, and community members for making this work possible—and for sharing in our vision of a world where mental health is protected, prioritized, and respected everywhere, including the workplace.
