Creating a community where mental health is valued begins with the way organizations care for the people who carry out the work each day. That’s why we’re proud to share that Mental Health America of Greenville County(MHAGC) has been recognized by Mental Health America as a 2026 Platinum recipient of the Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health.
The Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health is the nation’s leading recognition honoring employers that are committed to creating workplaces that actively support the mental health and well-being of their employees. Organizations are evaluated on policies, practices, and culture that foster environments where staff members feel respected, supported, and able to thrive both professionally and personally.
Receiving this Platinum-level distinction reflects the intentional work being done behind the scenes to build a healthy and supportive workplace. For us, that commitment isn’t simply a policy—it’s part of the culture we strive to cultivate every day. When the people doing this work feel supported, they are better able to show up for the community we serve.
As a Bell Seal recipient, MHAGC joins a select group of organizations across the country that are leading the way in prioritizing psychological safety, employee well-being, and healthy workplace culture. It is both an honor and a reminder that meaningful mental health work begins at home—with our own teams.
“Our staff and volunteers show up every day with compassion, dedication, and a deep commitment to the people in our community,” said Executive Director Jennifer Piver. “They carry out work that requires heart, resilience, and care. It is incredibly important to me that the place they come to do that work is supportive, welcoming, and healthy. This recognition reflects the culture our team has built together—one where people feel valued, respected, and connected as we serve our community.”
Our 2026 Platinum recognition reflects ongoing efforts across several key areas, including:
- A strategic and holistic approach to employee well-being
- Mental health–friendly benefits and resources
- A strong emphasis on work–life balance
- The introduction of a new retirement plan launching in 2026
- CliftonStrengths-based coaching to help staff identify and develop their unique talents and bring their best selves to their work

At Mental Health America of Greenville County, we believe strength begins with connection—and that connection starts within our own organization. By investing in the well-being of our team, we are building a stronger foundation for the programs and services that support our community every day.
Supporting our employees’ well-being remains a top priority for our leadership team as we continue working to create a workplace where staff, volunteers, and community partners feel valued and supported.
