This year marks the 10th anniversary of Mental Health America of Greenville County’s Annual Golf Tournament, a milestone that speaks to the commitment of our community to supporting mental health services and initiatives in Greenville County and beyond. Since its inception, this annual event has been held at The Preserve at Verdae, offering a day of fun, fellowship, and philanthropy—all in the name of strengthening mental health support in our region.
This tournament would not be possible without the steadfast dedication of our Board President Emeritus, Hunter Morris, along with Kayla Holtzclaw and the incredible team at Morris Law. Their commitment, along with the leadership of our current Board President, Darin Thomas, and the support of our Board of Directors, has been instrumental in the tournament’s success. Over the years, we have also been fortunate to receive sponsorships from outstanding organizations such as Prisma Health, Carolina Center for Behavioral Health, The Bank of Travelers Rest, and many more. Their generosity has allowed us to expand our impact and continue providing essential mental health resources.
As we celebrate this 10-year tradition, we look forward to another exciting day of competition, complete with great prizes, raffles, and an amazing lunch. But beyond the game, this event serves a greater purpose—it unites us in a shared mission to support, strengthen, and save lives. Together, we envision a world where mental health care is accessible, stigma and suicide are erased, and everyone has the opportunity to live with hope and well-being.
