SOS Loss Support Group

We invite you to our meetings of our SOS Loss support group. For those of you who cannot come in person, we will welcome you via Zoom. 

Our meeting place is the offices of Mental Health America of Greenville County (MHAGC), which sponsors our group. Their address is 130 Industrial Drive in Greenville, Suite B. (Industrial Drive is located off Laurens Road between the Subaru and Fairway Ford dealerships.)Please use the overflow parking available at Fellers Wrap next door. 

Please plan to come and share your story and listen to how others are coping with the same sorrows. We will be offering snacks, soft drinks, and coffee to welcome you and to create a comfortable space where you may share your questions, doubts, and experiences.

Suicide is not (as some well-meaning friends may counsel) something “to get over.” It is a tragedy that takes time and thoughtfulness to heal. MHAGC and your volunteer facilitators want to help you make sense of your loss, to honor your loved one, and to celebrate your resilience.

So, even if you have not been to our meetings in a while, we will welcome you back—in person and online. Together, we are part of a group of people who understand each other in ways that others simply cannot.
